Trainer Pokémons and Team Rocket?!

As expected, in 2025, the Trainer’s Pokémon – now officially called “Trainer’s Pokémon” – will return to the TCG. During the closing ceremony of Worlds, Lillie’s Clefairy ex, Marnie’s Grimmsnarl ex, N’s Zoroark ex, and two prints of N’s Reshiram have just been revealed.

The new "Owners" Pokemon work just like the original Gym Heroes and Gym Challenge mechanics. They evolve from or into their respective Trainer's Pokemon and show their Trainer's icon on the map. (Although this time around, they can also be Pokemon ex!)

Pokemon also teased Arven's Mabosstiff, Misty(?)'s Psyduck, and Ethan's Pichu:

She also teased the return of Team Rocket, which is a clear reference to The Glory of Team Rocket. The logo at one point showed Mewtwo, foreshadowing the return of Rocket's Mewtwo ex.
